First Harvest Open House

Join us as we celebrate the launch of the VIM Clinic Farm-acy and Wellness Market, new food sustainability initiatives within the VIM Clinic Wellness Program.

The Farm-acy includes 8 indoor hydroponic systems that produce several thousand pounds of fresh, leafy vegetables every year. Patients will be able to visit the Wellness Market and collect a bag of diabetic-friendly food and other VIM Clinic Wellness Program materials.

This initiative is supported by the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry and builds upon the distribution of diabetic-friendly food to patients through partnerships with The Deep Well Project, Second Helpings, and the local farming community.

This Open House is free to attend. Light food and beverages will be provided.
